Service Architect for critical security solutions in Endpoint Security

Do you want to help design and develop some of the most business-critical security solutions in the financial sector? Our Endpoint Security team at JN Data is growing, and we are looking for a service architect to take responsibility for the architecture, documentation and technical development of our services – including EDR, antivirus, FIM and SIEM.

The role

As service architect in Endpoint Security, you will act as the team’s architectural specialist, ensuring that our services are well-documented, technically robust, and continuously developed.

You will be the central figure for all functional changes related to the services and will work closely with both Service Owners and colleagues across the organisation. A key part of the role involves engaging in dialogue with the customer’s technical teams and management layers to ensure alignment when new technologies or needs emerge.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and their dependencies.

• Designing and further developing the architecture for multiple services, with a focus on scalability, security, and alignment with JN Data’s service landscape – both technically and from a business perspective.

• Supporting decision-making across services by contributing technical insight and data for reporting, cost calculations, and ongoing optimisation.

• Creating synergy between technologies such as EDR, antivirus, FIM, vulnerability scanning, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM, and SOAR, ensuring they operate together in a robust and scalable architecture.

• Facilitating collaboration and technical dialogue with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to ensure strategic direction and high-quality solutions.
  
  

The department

You will join a team of eight colleagues, all based in Roskilde, which is also where this position is located. We place great emphasis on close collaboration in our day-to-day work, and we therefore value regular office presence to maintain the strong team dynamic and knowledge sharing that characterise our way of working.

Several members of the team have been with JN Data for many years. This contributes not only to a strong technical foundation but also to an extensive internal network. It enables us to navigate the organisation efficiently and bring the right people together to solve complex challenges.

We collaborate closely with Log Management and our Cyber Defence Centre and are an integral part of the Cyber Defence business area, which is responsible for JN Data’s operational security tools, vulnerability management, and 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) operations.

About you

You are an experienced specialist within cybersecurity and architecture who thrives in complex technical environments. You are able to translate ideas into concrete solutions and ensure that your solutions not only work in isolation but also contribute to the overall architecture and the future direction of the organisation.

In addition, you have experience working with high compliance requirements and understand how security architecture and documentation play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance.

You are driven by curiosity and take an analytical approach to your work. You are ready to take on tasks even when there is no clear solution, and you understand that implementing change often requires both determination and commitment. When you encounter resistance, you see it as an opportunity for learning and growth.

• Has experience with architecture and technologies within endpoint security and cybersecurity.
• Is able to translate complex requirements into clear, scalable solutions.
• Takes initiative and stands firm – even when it requires extra persistence.
• Has worked with compliance requirements and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 or similar.
• Thrives in collaboration and takes the lead in dialogue with both colleagues and customers.

As your daily work will involve collaboration in Danish as well as interaction with colleagues in Poland, fluency in both written and spoken Danish and English required.
